The Orchestra wins the Best Animation Short at the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival!

​Vernon's little trumpeter got a bit tipsy on champagne and wouldn't stop playing Queen's 'We Are The Champions'. It was funny for a bit, but it got old pretty quickly... especially when the other awardees were trying to give speeches.

On Valentine's Day, 2016, The Orchestra won the Oscar-accredited Santa Barbara International Film Festival Bruce Corwin Award for Best Animated Short Film!!!

The Orchestra has won the Yoram Gross Best Australian Animation at FLiCKERFEST! A massive congratulations to the entire crew.

The Orchestra was nominated for the 2015 Best Short Animation Australian Academy Cinema Television Arts (AACTA) Award. We've nicknamed them the Ozcars.

The ceremony was pretty darn glitzy and glammy, and we we're thrilled to frock up and take part. Pictured are composer Jamie Messenger, producer Melanie Brunt and director Mikey Hill - all looking as shiny as possible!

Congratulations to the inimitable Adam Elliot for taking out the award!

What a supersonic team! Congratulations to Markus Kellow, Doron Kipen (Music and Effects), Jamie Messenger, and William Gardner for taking out the Australian Screen Sound Guild (ASSG) Award for Best Sound for an Animated Short Film. I can't recommend each of them highly enough for their talent and professionalism!
The Orchestra wins Best Sound Design at the Anima Mundi International Animation Festival (Rio De Janeiro/Sao Paulo, July, 2015). Congratulations to the sound team of Markus Kellow, Jamie Messenger and Doron Kippen.
